This Privacy Policy explains how ClearMicrophone collects and uses information to provide our services.
We collect minimal data necessary for license verification and fraud prevention:
• Hardware UUID: A unique identifier of your computer's motherboard.
• Hostname: The name of your computer.
• IP Address: Logged briefly during network requests for security purposes.
ClearMicrophone does NOT collect, store, or transmit your name, email address, physical address, or any personal files. We do not have access to your microphone audio data; all processing happens locally on your machine.
The Hardware UUID and Hostname are used solely to bind your license to your machine and to track trial periods. This prevents the unauthorized use of multiple trials on the same hardware.
We use Paddle as our payment processor. When you make a purchase, your payment information is handled directly by Paddle. Please refer to Paddle's Privacy Policy for more information.
All communication between the ClearMicrophone app and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard protocols.
